1. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this End User License Agreement ("EULA") and our Terms of Service, dgzstudios grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the P.R.E.P. application (the "App") on a compatible Android device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational use.
2. Restrictions
You agree not to, and not to permit others to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits;
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App;
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or branding on the App;
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable law or a third-party service's terms (including Google Play's terms).
3. Ownership
The App is licensed, not sold. dgzstudios and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual-property rights. This EULA does not grant you any rights beyond the limited license expressly stated above.
4. Third-party components and services
The App incorporates and relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, backend functions, and app integrity checks), Google Play Billing (in-app purchases), and Anthropic's Claude API (AI-assisted paper-review evaluation). Your use of these integrated services is also subject to each provider's own terms.
5. Updates
We may release updates to the App from time to time to add features, fix issues, or maintain compatibility with third-party services. This EULA applies to all updates unless a separate license accompanies an update.
6. Data collection
The App collects and processes information as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this EULA by reference.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. DGZSTUDIOS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR OPERATE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DGZSTUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Export compliance
You may not use or export the App except as authorized by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you obtained it and any other applicable laws, including U.S. export-control laws and regulations.
10. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms, or if we discontinue the App. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and, if applicable, uninstall it.
11. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which dgzstudios is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Entire agreement
This EULA, together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and dgzstudios regarding the App and supersedes any prior agreements relating to it.
