Privacy Policy | Bible Quest

        Bible Quest does not display in-app advertising. Account data (email, display name,
        and app progress/entitlement status) is stored via Firebase Authentication and a
        dedicated Firestore database, used only to run your account and deliver the content
        you've unlocked. We use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to
        understand app usage, which may collect device identifiers, including an advertising
        identifier — see Analytics and Advertising below.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how DGZGames ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Bible Quest mobile application ("App"). By using Bible Quest, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Account Information We Collect

Bible Quest requires an account to use the App. Depending on your sign-in method (Email/Password, Google Sign-In, or Microsoft Sign-In), we collect and store:

Email address
Display name
Sign-in provider
Email verification status
App tier (free or full) and unlock status
Selected content mode (Youth or Adult edition)
Account creation and last login timestamps

This information is stored using Firebase Authentication and a Bible Quest–specific Firestore database, and is used solely to operate your account, save your progress, and deliver content you are entitled to.

3. In-App Purchases

Bible Quest offers a one-time unlock purchase processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We store only whether your account has been granted the unlock entitlement.

4. Quiz Progress and Saved Results

Quiz progress, saved results, and content mode preferences are associated with your account and stored in our Firestore database so they can sync across sessions.

5. Children's Privacy

Bible Quest includes a Youth Edition intended to be accessible to younger users, typically under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect more information from a child than is necessary to operate an account (email and display name, as described above). The usage analytics described below are collected in both the Youth and Adult editions. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account or provided information without your consent, contact us at the address below and we will address it promptly.

6. Analytics and Advertising

Bible Quest does not display in-app advertising. We use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand how the App is used — for example, which screens are opened, whether the unlock offer is viewed, and general app engagement. This may include:

App usage events (screens viewed, features used, in-app purchase flow events)
Device and app information (device model, operating system version, app version, general language/region settings)
An app-scoped, resettable analytics identifier and, where available, the Android advertising identifier (Advertising ID)
Approximate location derived from IP address (not precise/GPS location)

This data is used for product analytics only — to understand usage and improve the App — and is not used to serve advertising within Bible Quest. You can limit ad-related identifier collection at the device level via your device's Settings > Privacy > Ads controls (wording varies by device/Android version).

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is processed by Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics) as our backend infrastructure and analytics provider, and by Google Play Billing for purchase processing.

8. Data Security

Account and app data is stored in a Bible Quest–specific Firestore database and Firebase Storage bucket, secured by Firebase security rules that require an authenticated user matching the requested data.

9. Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account from Settings > Delete my Account. This removes your Firebase Auth account, your Firestore profile, quiz progress, saved results, unlock status, and preferences. This does not delete external Google Play transaction records, which are controlled by Google, or aggregated analytics data that is not tied to your account identity.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
